Gratitude. How often do you think of the things you are grateful for? Maybe you are one of those people who keeps a gratitude journal. Perhaps, you mostly notice what you are grateful for only after it is gone (like your electricity). Energetically, we learn that feeling and expressing gratitude can be a game-changer, especially if you make it a regular part of your life.
Think of a time you REALLY needed help and someone came to your assistance. Remember that feeling of extreme gratitude in every cell of your body. Positive emotions and thoughts like happiness, kindness, joy, enthusiasm and others tend to have beneficial effects psychologically and physically. Gratitude is one of those emotions. Try it yourself and see.
If you are just getting started on your own personal gratitude practice, consider the following meditation. As you wake up in the morning, focus your attention and be grateful for your warm bed, the roof over your head, the shower, and your toothbrush. Throughout the day, try to remember to be grateful for simple things, like the home appliances that make life so easy (especially the washing machine!), your car and all the stores out there that make it so easy for you to buy the things you need; at mealtime, feel gratitude for the farmers working to provide your food; at the end of the day, focus on the blessings of a soft chair to sit in with (maybe) a warm dog by your side. And throughout the day, feel so grateful for the gift of Pranic Healing. What are you grateful for?
