Interesting listening to the solar eclipse coverage this week. People talking about how this event has changed for them over time. One man in particular was describing the difference between when he saw first the eclipse as a 5 year old, and how it compares to watching it today, as a NASA engineer. As a child, the eclipse is all about fantastic, “super-natural” events that cannot be understood! But as an engineer, he talked about how his training and understanding of the physical world now provides a different lens to see the eclipse though, especially being able to observe “invisible” phenomena like infra-red waves coming from the sun. It is completely within the laws of nature, and can actually be predicted! Understanding the world beyond what we can see with the naked eye, in this case – the solar system; makes an enormous difference in his experience. Read More
One of the most important things I have learned with Pranic Healing is how to do remote scanning and distance healing. I don’t know how I ever managed without these two skills. I literally use them all the time. Like the other day I was out of town on vacation, and the barn owner calls at 9:30 pm saying my horse is experiencing choke. Right away while I was on the phone with her, I scanned my horse’s energy to see what was going on. There was definitely a certain “stuckness” in his throat that I could feel and specifically locate.
Now we’ve had to work together with choke a couple of times, and I’m familiar with the energy pattern my horse presents when experiencing choke from a stress-induced situation. I wasn’t seeing a similar pattern this time. Maybe the record heat was a factor and he was a bit dehydrated. Maybe it was the new delivery of alfalfa that was just different enough, because he has been eating hay successfully. Or maybe it was something about the new horse on the property. Who knows. Maybe it’s just me, but these things tend to happen mostly on a Sunday night. Coming home after teaching Advanced Pranic Healing all weekend, before I even got to unpacking and sorting through things, my Rottweiler was obviously in need of assistance. Apparently he’d been getting progressively sicker all day, vomiting and lethargy. He was laying there in a pile on the floor. No enthusiasm. Eyelids super-droopy. His body felt heavy, like very low vital energy. Barely wanting to move. Read More
I was catching up with a friend recently, and she mentioned so casually that well, things just haven’t been the same since she was stuck by lightning in October. Struck by lightning?!? No kidding things aren’t the same. She mentioned issues with memory, reduced intuitive ability, and general low energy. What had her doctor offered? Not much, so she is just moving forward with her life and her job, although struggling to regain the semblance of normalcy that she had before. Read More
Emergency colic surgery. That phrase is enough to strike fear in the hearts of the most experienced equestrian. We can feel so helpless and the situation so far out of our control. The reality, though, is that is only partly true. There is a lot we can do to influence any surgical outcome in a positive way, whether it is a simple dental extraction or a double level anterior interbody cervical fusion. Because everything is energy, we can learn to use the tools of energy healing to support and benefit our horse before, during and after a surgical procedure. Read More
